In the evening there was a BBQ party at Pauls pool. Linda Swart and Jim Pavlis and some folks from the neighborhood arrived.

Paul Schweizer waited at the airport with a picture of me.
He brought me to his house and gave me some food, beer and a bed.
Next day after I relaxed at Pauls pool his parents went with me on a cruise to LA, the Laguna Beach and the pacific coast highway.
There it was for the first time... the feeling... far away from home but staying with friends.
On Friday morning we started to get Pauls bike from a dealer who prepared the C-10 for the trip.
We arrived at a very big and beautiful Kawasaki building. “Very comfortable workshop” I thought, but...
This building was not any dealer, it was the Kawasaki headquarter California.
And big surprise Vic and Ted had setup something really great.
Jan and Brian of Kawasaki Public Affairs department presented a 2009 Concours C-14 to me.
New tires, fluids etc. The bike looked brand new.
“If its break or damaged bring it to any dealer, they will fix it”. Boaa!
We told a few stories, took a bunch of pictures and then I followed Paul, Jim and Linda to Pauls house to load up the gear.
Now the trip really started. I felt like a king!
