Grand Canyon to Frisco

On the campground at Desert View Harry made some nice pieces of meat on the fire and gave me some of what he called “Moonshine” (I think some kind of Whiskey).
We slept in his tend until he sad at five a clock in the morning: “Its time to go”. I thought he's kidding but he didn't.
After an coffee (thank you James) and a last view to the Grand Canyon we are on the road again.
Our way north to the Brice National Park in southwest Utah was some of the most beautiful and varied landscapes I ever saw.

At five a clock I became tiered and told it to Harry. To many impressions, don't fits to my head. We head a nice evening in Escalante. Pizza and good beer from a mug they called “pinch” I think.

Next day, Monday we continued our trip through this superb landscape (Capital Reef, Moki-Dugway, Mexican Hat, Cortez).
Desert with nice rocks in different colors (red, black or white), and … no words, look at the pictures.

On this day I saw a sign “Lake Powell”. I remembered Lake Powell two days ago and ask Harry “Two Lakes or driving in a circle?” It was the same lake on it's other end, big country.
The weather was fine, even they had pronounced rain.
Harry and James took another Motel for us (instead of camping), payed the room, the foot and took care off me (Drink more water, use a lipstick, do you need a headache tablet?). They ask me “Are you comfortable?”.
Yes, I was comfortable and feeling like the king or like the Over The Pond Traveler.

Tuesday morning we started with sunny weather to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. Complete different view, more green, wood and high mountains.
At noon rain started.
What a contrast, one day in the hot desert, next day in the high mountains, cold, rain and snow.
James left us at noon.
We reached Frisco cold and wet in the evening. After a shower we looked for a restaurant and find a Chinese.
